Within a First TEAM project "Nanocrystalline ceramic materials for efficient electrochemical energy conversion" funded by Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) our groups has one open position for a PhD student. We are looking for a candidate to start either right now or from 1st October 2019 with the new academic semester.
Project goal connected to the available position is to develop Solid Oxide Fuel Cell working at lowered temperatures (500-600 °C). This require fabrication of ceramic thin films, their electrical characterization and post-mortem analysis. We are looking for a motivated and driven candidate, preferably with some prior laboratory experience, but the most important traits are hard work and a proper can-do attitude.
We can offer a PhD stipend from the project (4000 PLN/month, till the end of September 2021 with possibility of extension) plus possible regular stipends from the faculty. These are competitive conditions on the Polish market.
